unshackled: gaza and humanity staring back at me

  • Becca · 11 months ago
Love your honesty. This Gaza stuff makes me shut down. This much grief should make the planet split, you know? God help us.

Your thoughts on being human are partly what I've been trying to say for years but never found the words.
    Thanks for writing!

Yea, I've recently felt the same emotion over the conflict, although I haven't followed it quite very closely...and the times I sucked and frustrated me. Also recently I've been trying to sorta out my life, trying to decide what really matters, and I know it's elementary, but I've decided love and love for humanity and heck yea, man we're all human, we're all family and we stretch all over this marble...yes dysfunctional at times, but as a result quite beautiful other times. anyway I'll stop rambling.

humanity is messed up but we're part of it shucks but we can claim the victory and live for Jesus not as simple as it sounds

People who have power are responsible for the consequences of its use -- it is morally unacceptable to accept hundreds of civilian deaths as collateral damage, regardless of how justified your eventual aim is. It is really simple, just like everyone's mother taught them: the ends do NOT justify the means.

We grumble and grouse about our economic disaster. We grab greedily and gluttonously anything and everything to plug our hearts against the plights of our sisters and brothers. We are immune to sorrow and suffering-we do not deign to stretch out a pudgy hand to the starved, starved for love and peace and brotherhood. Great God what on earth are we doing! At one time I blamed God for the suffering in the world, blamed him for sitting back and watching, maybe laughing. I weep to find his people doing the same. Where is the Jesus that once walked the earth? Oh God if we could have him now in the hands and feet and skin of humans, humans who learn to love.

Some GAZA facts - every citizen of Gaza gets 250 kg. of humanities help from different organisations!!
Where is it? Citizens doesn't get it because of hamas trades it in to weapon.

Hamas soldiers holding kids while starting kasam, to be sure that Israel soldiers won't shoot them - you can see video in youtube

Israel gives electriсity and water for free for several years, hamas is giving kasams for free

Real bandits - is hamas - they took Gaza citizens as hostages.

    I appreciate your post.
It would mean just the same without the use of the "f" word.
    Must you use it?
    Must you?
Would you not use it just for my sake?
